About Us

Chartered in 1893, the San Francisco Labor Council is the local body of the AFL-CIO and represents more than 100,000 union members and their families in the City. The members, represented by more than 150 unions, work in virtually every industry transportation, entertainment, healthcare, construction, education, retail, hospitality, aviation and public service.
