Title: Mobilization to Support Raising the Minimum Compensation Ordinance
Location: City Hall, Room 250
Link out: Click here
Join us to urge the SF Board of Supervisors to raise the Minimum Compensation Ordinance on October 23 at SF City Hall at 2 PM.
Decision Day is Oct. 23, the SF Supervisors will vote on approving or denying the raise. The increase in the ordinance will help raise wages for hundreds of low wage workers providing public services to seniors, children, people with disabilities and the homeless. Come express your views during public comment. Tell the SF Supervisors to support raising wages and explain how the high turnover at work is hurting the services we provide to the most vulnerable in the city. Many of us work multiple jobs to make ends meet. We believe: One Job Should Be Enough!
