Title: Union Day of Action
Location: Union Square, Corner of Powell & Geary Streets, SF

Description: The racist rhetoric we heard during the presidential campaign is now becoming reality through policies such as the Muslim travel and immigration ban, and aggressive, increased deportations of persons who clearly are not “criminals”. Immigrant workers and communities of color are feeling increasingly under siege.
This past year, we have witnessed a historic level of action and resistance across North America. Now, more than ever, it’s time for working people to take a stand. We are planning to mobilize more than 20,000 members in 20 cities across North America to show that standing together in union is the best way to create an economy that works for everyone—not just the wealthiest 1%.
Join us for a rally for immigration reform, for an end to the police killing of African Americans without consequences (Black Lives Matter!), for the right of workers to organize a union, and for social and economic justice for all of us, not only the rich and powerful!
