Amber Parrish Baur
Political Director
As the political director of the San Francisco labor Council, Amber coordinates all political field operations and community mobilization efforts while providing support to affiliated unions. The daughter of a union sheet metal worker and CSEA member, she understands firsthand the struggles working people face in our community. She is committed to fighting for workers’ rights and dignity in these tough economic times.
Amber comes to the labor movement from the California State Legislature, where she worked as the district director for Assemblymember Noreen Evans. She worked extensively throughout the North Bay to build coalitions and implement change with experience electing state and local candidates and passing local measures. On behalf of the Assembly Democratic Caucus, she has also worked on competitive races throughout the state.
