Title: Join Postal Workers to Defend a Public Postal Service
Location: Staples ~ 1700 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco
Link out: Click here
Description: Staples and the U.S. Postal Service have cut a deal that jeopardizes our nation’s public post offices, the sanctity of the mail and thousands of good jobs at living wages.

The people of this country have a right to full-service, public Post Offices that are accountable to the American people. Postal services should be provided by uniformed USPS employees, highly trained public servants sworn to safeguard the mail. Postal jobs should be maintained as good jobs that pay a living wage. Our communities need more, not less, living wage jobs! We demand that the USPS assign postal employees to perform the postal work at Staples stores! Until USPS employees staff postal operations in Staples stores we call upon all concerned citizens to let Staples know that you will take your business elsewhere.
